Turn on the Xbox console

Press the Pair button on the Xbox console
Press and hold the Pair button on the controller until the Xbox button flashes rapidly
Wait until the controller light stays solid
If using a USB cable, connect the controller to the Xbox with the cable
If using Bluetooth-compatible Xbox controller, pair it through the device settings if needed
