Turn on the Xbox One controller by pressing the Xbox button
On the console, press the Pair button
On the controller, press and hold the Pair button until the Xbox button flashes
Wait until the Xbox button stays lit
For USB connection, plug the controller into the console with a micro-USB or USB-C cable
For Windows PC, turn on Bluetooth on the PC
On the controller, press and hold the Pair button until the Xbox button flashes
On the PC, select Add Bluetooth or other device
Choose Bluetooth
Select Xbox Wireless Controller from the list
For wireless adapter connection on PC, plug in the Xbox Wireless Adapter
Press the Pair button on the adapter
Press and hold the Pair button on the controller until the Xbox button flashes
Wait until the controller connects and the Xbox button stays lit
