Back up your files, photos, documents, and any important data
Save product keys, passwords, and license information
Create a Windows 10 installation USB using the Media Creation Tool
Plug the USB drive into the PC you want to reinstall
Restart the PC and enter the boot menu or BIOS/UEFI
Set the USB drive as the first boot device
Boot from the USB drive
Select language, time, and keyboard settings
Click Install now
Enter your product key or choose I don’t have a product key
Select the Windows 10 edition that matches your license
Accept the license terms
Choose Custom: Install Windows only
Select the partition where Windows is installed
Delete the old Windows partitions if you want a clean install
Select the unallocated space or target drive
Click Next to begin installation
Wait for Windows to copy files and restart
Complete the setup screens
Sign in with your Microsoft account or create a local account
Install Windows updates
Reinstall drivers, apps, and restore your files
Activate Windows if needed
