Enable a remote access tool on the target computer

Install the same remote access software on the device you will use to connect
Sign in with the same account or pair the devices using the provided code
Make sure the target computer is powered on and connected to the internet
Allow remote access permissions in the target computer’s settings
Set a strong password or authentication method
Use the correct IP address, hostname, or access code
Connect from the remote device using the selected tool
Enter credentials or approve the connection request
Use a VPN if connecting over a public network
Log out and disable remote access when no longer needed
