Open the Facebook app or website and log in
Go to your profile
Click or tap your profile picture
Select View profile picture
Click or tap the three dots menu
Choose Delete photo or Remove photo
Confirm the deletion
If the picture is your current profile photo, upload a new one first if needed
If you only want to hide it, change the audience or set it to Only me instead
