Open the Gmail app or go to Gmail in a browser
Sign in to the account you want to remove if needed
Click or tap your profile picture in the top right
Select Manage accounts on this device
Choose the Gmail account you want to remove
Tap Remove account
Confirm the removal
On a computer, sign out of Gmail if you only want to stop using the account in that browser
To remove the account from the browser, clear saved Google sign-in data or remove the account from the browser profile
To remove the account from your phone, go to device Settings
Open Accounts or Passwords and accounts
Select Google
Choose the Gmail account
Tap Remove account
Confirm the removal
