Turn off the device
Wash and dry your hands
Lift one corner of the screen protector with a fingernail or a plastic card
Peel it back slowly at a low angle
Support the screen with your other hand
Remove any remaining adhesive with a microfiber cloth
Use a small amount of screen-safe cleaner if needed
Dispose of the old screen protector properly
