Turn off the TV and unplug all cables
Remove any cable ties or cord clips
Have another person help support the TV
Locate the locking screws, tabs, or safety latches on the mount
Loosen or release the locking mechanism
Lift the TV slightly to unhook it from the wall plate
Pull the TV away from the wall carefully
Place the TV face down on a soft, flat surface
Remove the mounting brackets from the back of the TV if needed
Store the screws and brackets together for later use
