Open the Find My app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac
Tap or click Devices
Select your AirPods
Swipe up or click More Info
Tap or click Remove This Device
Confirm the removal
If needed, go to Settings
Tap your name
Tap Find My
Open Find My iPhone
Turn off Find My network for the AirPods if available
Remove the AirPods from your Bluetooth devices list
On iPhone or iPad, go to Settings
Tap Bluetooth
Tap the info icon next to your AirPods
Tap Forget This Device
Confirm
On Mac, open System Settings
Click Bluetooth
Find your AirPods
Click the info icon
Click Forget This Device
Confirm
If the AirPods are still linked, sign in to iCloud.com/find
Select the AirPods
Choose Remove from Account
Confirm
If you are selling or giving them away, reset the AirPods first
Put the AirPods in the case
Close the lid
Open the lid
Press and hold the setup button until the light flashes amber, then white
