Open Google Calendar
Click the gear icon
Select Settings
In the left sidebar, click Birthdays
Uncheck the Birthdays calendar
To remove birthday events completely, open Google Contacts
Edit or delete the birthday field for the contact
Refresh Google Calendar
If birthdays still appear, check the Birthdays calendar visibility in Calendar settings and turn it off
