Turn off the dishwasher and unplug it or switch off the circuit breaker
Open the dishwasher door and remove the bottom rack
Locate the filter at the bottom of the tub
Twist the filter counterclockwise to unlock it
Lift the filter assembly out carefully
Remove any secondary filter or mesh screen if present
Rinse or clean the filter as needed
Reinstall the filter by placing it back in position
Twist clockwise to lock it securely
Replace the bottom rack
Restore power to the dishwasher
