Locate the water filter housing in your Frigidaire refrigerator
Turn off the ice maker if needed
Open the filter cover or access panel
Twist the old filter counterclockwise or press the release button, depending on the model
Pull the old filter straight out
Remove the protective cap from the new filter if present
Insert the new filter into the housing
Twist the new filter clockwise until it locks, or push it in until it clicks, depending on the model
Close the filter cover or access panel
Run several gallons of water through the dispenser to flush the new filter
Reset the filter indicator light if your model has one
Check for leaks around the filter housing
