Open the Downloads folder
Select the files you want to remove
Press Delete or Backspace
Empty the Recycle Bin or Trash if needed
On a browser, open Downloads from the menu or press Ctrl+J
Remove downloaded items from the browser downloads list if available
On a phone, open the Files or Downloads app
Long-press the download
Tap Delete or Remove
Confirm the deletion if prompted
