Cut the plastic fastener with small scissors or wire cutters
Slide a thin blade or seam ripper under the tag edge
Snip the thread or attachment point holding the tag
Pull the tag away gently once it is loosened
If adhesive is used, peel slowly from one corner
Use rubbing alcohol on residue if needed
Wash the garment after removal if any sticky residue remains
