Turn off Gemini or switch back to Google Assistant
Go to your phone Settings
Tap Apps
Tap Gemini
Tap Uninstall if available
If Uninstall is not available, tap Disable
Open the Google app
Tap your profile picture or initial
Tap Settings
Tap Google Assistant
Turn off Gemini access if shown
Remove Gemini as the default assistant in your phone’s Assistant settings
Restart your phone
If Gemini came preinstalled, uninstall updates and disable it if needed
