Shut down the computer
Turn off the power supply
Unplug the power cable
Press the power button for a few seconds to discharge residual power
Open the computer case
Disconnect any power cables from the GPU
Remove any screws securing the GPU to the case
Release the PCIe slot latch
Gently pull the GPU straight out of the PCIe slot
Place the GPU on an anti-static surface
Close the case if no replacement is being installed
Reconnect the power cable and turn the system back on
