Apply a cold compress or wrapped ice pack for 10–15 minutes at a time

Apply arnica cream or vitamin K cream
Use over-the-counter bruise cream if available
Cover the mark with makeup or concealer
Wear clothing or accessories to hide the area
Avoid scratching or rubbing the skin
Seek medical advice if the area is very painful, swollen, or not improving
