Pull mushrooms out by hand as soon as they appear
Wear gloves when removing them
Bag and discard mushrooms in the trash

Water early in the morning so grass dries faster
Improve drainage in soggy areas
Rake up leaves, thatch, and other organic debris

Reduce shade by trimming overhanging branches
Use a lawn fungicide only if needed and labeled for mushrooms
Keep pets and children away from mushrooms until removed
Monitor the lawn for new growth and remove mushrooms promptly
