Wash the area with car soap and water
Dry the surface with a microfiber towel
Inspect the scuff to see if it is on the clear coat or just on the paint transfer
Apply a small amount of rubbing compound or scratch remover to a microfiber applicator
Rub the scuff gently in straight or circular motions
Wipe away residue with a clean microfiber towel
Repeat if needed until the scuff fades
Use a polishing compound if the mark remains
Apply wax or paint sealant after cleaning
If the scuff does not come off, use a clay bar with lubricant
If the paint is damaged or deep, get touch-up paint or professional repair
