Wash and dry the vehicle thoroughly
Work in a shaded, cool area
Flatten a small piece of clay into a disc
Spray clay lubricant on a small section of paint
Glide the clay gently over the lubricated area
Use light pressure only
Continue until the surface feels smooth
Fold and knead the clay frequently to expose a clean side
Reapply lubricant as needed
Wipe the area clean with a microfiber towel
Repeat section by section across the vehicle
Discard the clay if it drops on the ground
Apply wax, sealant, or coating after claying
