Wash the car with car shampoo and clean water
Dry the surface with a microfiber towel
Mix equal parts white vinegar and distilled water
Spray the solution on the water spots
Let it sit for 30 to 60 seconds
Wipe the area with a microfiber cloth
Rinse the area with clean water
Dry the surface again
Use a clay bar if spots remain
Apply a water spot remover or light polish
Buff the area with a clean microfiber towel
Apply wax or paint sealant after cleaning
Repeat if necessary on stubborn spots
