Sign an oath of renunciation of U.S. citizenship
Pay the required renunciation fee
Surrender your U.S. passport and any other U.S. citizenship documents
Ensure all required tax filings and obligations are addressed
Obtain a Certificate of Loss of Nationality after approval
Notify relevant banks, employers, and government agencies of your new status
