Turn off the main power
Verify the panel is de-energized
Remove the panel cover
Identify the faulty breaker
Disconnect the breaker wire
Release the breaker from the bus bar
Remove the old breaker
Install the new breaker
Reconnect the wire to the new breaker
Secure the breaker in place
Reinstall the panel cover
Turn the main power back on
Test the new breaker and circuit
