Save the sender’s phone number and message details
Forward the message to your mobile carrier’s spam reporting number
Report the message to your carrier through their spam reporting option or app
Block the sender’s number on your phone
Report the message to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov
Report phishing texts to the Anti-Phishing Working Group at reportphishing@apwg.org
If the message involves fraud, report it to local law enforcement
If the message is from a known business, contact the business using official contact information
Delete the message after reporting it
