Select your Google Home device
Tap Settings
Tap Device information
Tap Factory reset
Confirm the reset
Or, on the device itself, press and hold the microphone mute button for about 15 seconds
Wait for the device to confirm the reset
Release the button when the reset starts
If your model has a dedicated reset button, press and hold it until the device resets
