Unplug the washer from the power outlet
Wait 1 to 5 minutes
Plug the washer back in
Open and close the lid 6 times within 12 seconds if your model has a lid switch
Press and hold the Start/Pause button for 3 to 5 seconds if needed
Turn the cycle selector to the Off or Reset position if your model has one
Cancel the current cycle if the control panel allows it
Press Power to turn the washer off, then back on
Run a test cycle with no laundry
If the washer still does not reset, unplug it for 10 minutes and try again
