Unplug the Cox router’s power cable
Wait 30 seconds
Plug the power cable back in
Wait for the router to fully restart
If needed, press and hold the Reset button on the router for 10 to 15 seconds
Release the Reset button
Wait for the router to reboot and reconnect
Reconfigure Wi-Fi settings if the reset restores factory defaults
