Choose fresh roses that are fully opened but not wilting
Remove excess leaves and trim the stems
Tie the stems together in small bundles
Hang the roses upside down in a dark, dry, well-ventilated place
Keep them away from direct sunlight and humidity
Leave them to dry for 1 to 3 weeks
Check that the petals feel crisp and the stems are dry
Spray lightly with hairspray or floral sealant if desired
Store the dried roses in a cool, dry place away from moisture
