Turn the ignition to ON without starting the engine
Press the odometer/trip button until the odometer display shows Trip A
Turn the ignition OFF
Press and hold the odometer/trip button
Turn the ignition to ON while continuing to hold the button
Keep holding until the maintenance light resets and the dashes disappear
Release the button
Turn the ignition OFF and then start the car to confirm the reset
