Open the Fitbit app and check for a restart option for your model
Connect your Fitbit to its charging cable if required
Press and hold the button or buttons on the device for 5 to 10 seconds
Release when the Fitbit logo appears or the screen turns off and back on
For Fitbit Charge models, press and hold the button on the charger until the logo appears
For Fitbit Inspire, press and hold the side button for about 5 seconds
For Fitbit Versa and Sense models, press and hold the back and bottom buttons together until the logo appears
For Fitbit Luxe, connect to the charger and press the button on the charging cable three times with short pauses
For Fitbit Ace and older models, remove and reconnect the device to power if needed
If the device does not restart, charge it for at least 10 to 15 minutes and try again
If the device still does not restart, perform a factory reset only if you want to erase all data
