Unplug the router’s power cable
Wait 10 to 30 seconds
Plug the power cable back in
Wait for the router lights to stabilize
Check your internet connection
If needed, restart your modem too
If the router has a power button, turn it off and on instead of unplugging
If the router still does not work, reset it only if you want to restore factory settings
