Check whether your messaging app supports message deletion or unsending
Open the conversation containing the text
Press and hold the message you want to retract
Tap Delete, Unsend, Remove, or a similar option
Choose whether to delete for yourself only or for everyone, if available
Confirm the action
If the message was already delivered and cannot be retracted, send a follow-up correction or apology
If needed, contact the recipient directly and ask them to ignore the message
