Open the group text
Tap the group name or details
Select Leave this conversation if available
Mute notifications for the chat if you cannot leave
Turn off group messaging in your phone settings if supported
Block the sender if it is an unwanted group
Ask the group admin to remove you
Delete the conversation from your messages app
Disable message notifications for the messaging app
Use Do Not Disturb or Focus mode to silence alerts
