Open Snapchat and log in to your account
Tap your Bitmoji or profile icon
Tap the Settings gear icon
Scroll to My Data
Tap Submit Request if you want to download your Snapchat data
Check your email for the download link from Snapchat
Download the ZIP file from the link
Extract the ZIP file on your device or computer
Open the HTML or JSON files inside the extracted folder
Look for chat, message, or conversation data in the files
Open a chat in Snapchat to view current messages
Swipe right from the camera screen to access the Chat screen
Tap a conversation to view saved messages
Check for messages that were saved in the chat by either user
View Memories if you are looking for saved snaps or media
Check archived email or device backups if you previously backed up Snapchat data
