Find a llama in the wild, usually in mountains or savanna villages
Tame the llama by repeatedly trying to mount it until hearts appear
Open the llama’s inventory after taming it
Place a carpet on the llama to customize it
Use a lead to guide the llama if needed
Mount the llama by right-clicking or using the interact button
Control the llama by riding it, but note that llamas cannot be directly steered like horses
Use another lead attached to a llama to form a caravan and move multiple llamas together
