Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
Trim the ends of Brussels sprouts
Halve Brussels sprouts lengthwise
Toss sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper
Add optional seasonings: garlic powder, smoked paprika, chili flakes, or grated Parmesan
Spread sprouts cut-side down in a single layer
Roast 20–30 minutes, flipping once halfway through
Roast until deeply browned and tender
Add optional finishing touches: balsamic glaze, lemon juice, more Parmesan, or chopped toasted nuts
Serve immediately
