Back up important files
Plug in the power adapter
Turn off the laptop
Turn on the laptop and immediately press and hold the appropriate key:
Acer Aspire/Aspire One: press Alt + F10 during startup
Acer Predator/Helios (some models): press Alt + F10 during startup
When the Acer Recovery Management screen appears, select:
Restore to factory default
or Restore system to factory default
Choose:
Keep my files (if available)
or Remove everything (factory reset)
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the reset
When finished, restart the laptop and complete initial setup
If Alt + F10 does not work, use Windows Reset:
Open Settings
Go to System
Select Recovery
Choose Reset this PC
Select Remove everything or Keep my files
Select Local reinstall or Cloud download (if shown)
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the reset
