How To Reset ASUS Notebook?

Back up your data (if possible)

Shut down the notebook

Press and hold the power button for 15–20 seconds to fully power off

Turn the notebook back on

Open Recovery options:

Windows 10/11: Settings → System → Recovery → Reset this PC → Get started

Or: Settings → Update & Security → Recovery → Reset this PC → Get started

Choose reset option:

Keep my files

Remove everything

Choose how to reinstall:

Cloud download

Local reinstall

Confirm settings and start the reset

Follow on-screen prompts to complete the reset

If Windows won’t boot:

Power on, then force power off during boot (repeat 2–3 times) to enter Recovery

Select Troubleshoot → Reset this PC

Choose Keep my files or Remove everything

Choose Cloud download or Local reinstall

Finish the reset using on-screen prompts

If Recovery won’t appear:

Use a Windows installation USB

Boot from USB (press Esc/F8/F10/F12 during startup, depending on model)

Select Repair your computer → Troubleshoot → Reset this PC

After reset completes:

Set up Windows again and sign in

Reinstall apps and drivers if needed
