Open the website in your browser
Click the browser menu or address bar options
Select Create shortcut, Add to desktop, or Save page as
Choose Desktop as the save location
Confirm the action
If needed, drag the website icon from the address bar to the desktop
On Windows, you can also right-click the desktop and choose New > Shortcut, then paste the website URL
On Mac, drag the website URL from the address bar to the desktop or use File > Save As if available
