Select Copy Link if you want to use a download tool later
Take a screenshot if you only need a quick copy
Use Instagram’s Save feature to bookmark the post inside the app
Use a browser on desktop and open the post if it is publicly accessible
Right-click the image on desktop and choose Save image as if available
Use a trusted third-party downloader only if permitted by the content owner and platform rules
Download the image from your own account if you originally uploaded it
Ask the creator for permission and a direct file if you want the original image
Check copyright and privacy rules before saving or reusing any image
