Open the Instagram app or website
Go to the photo you want to save
If the photo is yours, tap the three dots and choose Save to device or Download
If the photo is not yours, check whether the creator has allowed downloads
Use Instagram’s Save feature to bookmark the post in the app
On mobile, take a screenshot if downloading is not available
On a computer, use your browser’s download or screenshot tools if permitted
Respect copyright and the creator’s permissions before saving or sharing photos
