Open Instagram and find the video you want to save
Tap the three-dot menu on the post or reel
Check whether a Save to device or Download option is available
If available, tap it to save the video to your gallery
If no download option appears, copy the video link
Open a trusted video downloader app or website
Paste the copied link into the downloader
Download the video to your phone
Open your phone’s Gallery or Photos app to confirm it is saved
If the video is your own reel or post, use Instagram’s archive or download data options
On Android, check the Downloads folder if the video does not appear in Gallery
On iPhone, check the Photos app after downloading
Make sure you have permission to save and use the video
