Open the Instagram app
Go to the live video you want to save
Tap the three dots or share options
Select Save, Download, or Save Video if available
If you are the host, end the live and tap Download Video or Save to Archive
If the live is already over, check your Archive or Live Archive in Instagram
If the option is not available, use your device screen recording feature while watching the live
On iPhone, open Control Center and start Screen Recording
On Android, use the built-in Screen Recorder or a trusted screen recording app
Save the recording to your device after the live ends
Make sure you have permission before saving or recording someone else’s live video
