Open WhatsApp
Tap the three dots menu
Select Settings
Tap Chats
Turn on Media visibility
Open the chat with the photo
Tap the photo
Tap the download icon if needed
Check your phone’s Gallery or Photos app
If the photo still does not appear, restart WhatsApp
If needed, check your phone’s storage permissions for WhatsApp
