Open Facebook and log in to your account
Tap the Menu icon
Go to Settings & privacy
Tap Settings
Scroll to the Audience and visibility section
Tap How people find and contact you
Tap Who can send you friend requests
Check the current setting
If needed, change it to Everyone or Friends of friends
