Open the folder containing the photos
Click one photo to select it
Hold Ctrl and click other photos to select multiple separate photos
Hold Shift and click another photo to select a range of photos
Drag the mouse to draw a selection box around multiple photos
Press Ctrl + A to select all photos in the folder
Use touchpad tap or click to select photos on a laptop
Use arrow keys and Spacebar to select photos with the keyboard
