Connect iPhone to computer with a USB cable
Unlock iPhone and trust the computer (if prompted)
Open Photos on Mac (or iTunes/Finder if using an older setup)
On Mac: select your iPhone in Photos sidebar, then choose Import
On Windows: open Photos app, select your iPhone, then choose Import
Select the photos to transfer, then click Import/Save
To use Finder on macOS: open Finder, select iPhone in Locations, then choose Photos and Import
To use iCloud Photos: enable iCloud Photos on iPhone, then download photos from iCloud Photos on the computer
To use AirDrop (Mac): open Photos on iPhone, select photos, tap Share, choose the Mac, accept on the Mac
To use AirDrop (Windows): enable iCloud Photos or transfer via USB (AirDrop is not native on Windows)
To use Google Photos: install Google Photos on iPhone, upload, then sign in on the computer and download
To use OneDrive: install OneDrive on iPhone, enable camera upload, then download from OneDrive on the computer
