Open the lock using the current combination
Locate the reset tool, reset lever, or reset hole, if your lock has one
Turn the shackle, dial, or reset mechanism to the reset position
Press or hold the reset button, lever, or shackle as required
Set the new combination by turning the dials or aligning the numbers
Release the reset mechanism to save the new combination
Scramble the lock to confirm the new combination is set
Test the new combination before using the lock normally
