Turn on the thermostat
Press the Menu or Settings button
Select the mode: Heat, Cool, Auto, or Off
Set the desired temperature using the up and down arrows
Adjust the fan setting to Auto or On
Set the schedule if your model supports programming
Confirm and save the settings
Check that the system responds correctly
Replace the cover if needed
