Align the slate pieces tightly and level them precisely
Secure the slate to the frame
Fill and smooth the slate seams with wax or seam filler
Stretch and staple or glue the cloth over the slate
Install the rails and tighten all bolts evenly
Attach the pockets securely
Check the table level in multiple directions and adjust leg levelers as needed
Brush the cloth and clean the playing surface
Roll balls across the table to verify smooth, even play
Recheck all fasteners after setup is complete
